Instant gratification, as the phrase implies, means a need or goal being immediately met or achieved. However, if a need or goal becomes a burden or a hardship discouragement can occur. From there people have four options on how to proceed: 1) quit, 2) procrastinate 3) complete it hurriedly and carelessly or 4) finish it with excellence. Now option 4) is the best scenario as in the scripture above we are promised a blessing. GOD created the world and all of its wonder in 7 days, not all at once, and HE saw that it was good. How much more can we take a step back and re-strategize to get things done in our own lives no matter how big or small. And remember GOD gives wisdom, free of charge, to everyone; just ask HIM! (James 1:5)
